Default new video of engine noise, need your help

Sounds worse to me, any ideas on what it is and does yours do this?
Heres the deal, I need some of you to go start your truck from cold first thing in the AM or after sitting for awhile and is cold. Just sit by it for 10 to 15 minutes depending on your outside temperature.
At any time through the warm up process and or after it is completley warmed up and idling does it sound like this video. Dont touch the accelerator or anything just start it and leave it for 10 min or 15 minutes max.

Almost sounds like a diesel....weird. Keep us informed as to what the dealer says. Someone posted that theirs turned out to be water pump and yours sounds louder up front so maybe its gonna be an issue.

I have noticed this on ours as well. Seems to be worse when its cold in the morning as you said. My first idea was the clutch fan? I have never checked into it yet. Keep us informed please.

This may sound kind of stupid but trust me..it works! Take a 4' piece of garden hose to one ear and move the other end around the engine or where you think the noise is coming from. When you find it....put the hose directly on the area and you will hear it better and more precise. One thing is for sure, something is wrong and make your dealer fix it. Hate to say..but I've heard this same sound myself and mine was internal possibly lifters not pumping up (hydraulic) or anywhere in the valve train from low oil pressure and from cold (30 degrees). I didn't check mine cause it was only for a brief moment. If it is valve train noise..you'll hear it better from the vl covers...if it's the lower end..you'll hear it better from the oil pan (with the hose to your ear). Good luck
