Default Hopefully someone can help! I need a part #!

Ok I just recently bought an 09 Ram. It has factory remote start however....The rubber plunger on the hood is missing.. So when i hit the button to start it, it wont start because the hood pin isnt pressed down by the rubber thing thats supposed to be attached to the hood.. Anyone know the part number for the Rubber plunger? My local dealer sure doesnt...

well if it was equipped with the factory remote start when you bought it then just call the dealer and tell them it is missing and it will be fixed under warranty.

They should be able to look up all the parts on the truck with your vin. That's what the dealer told me. It sucks dealing witht he parts people at the dealership, they can't tell their left foot from the right. I'm trying to order a TRX color matched grille to swap onto my truck and it's been an experience so far.

The service department at my dealer is useless. I had to do my own research to get my upgrades done. Its very sad, really.
