My buddy helped me finish installing my HIDs the other night because while in the middle of installing the kit, I had to respond to an emergency. He was nice enough to finish to the best of his ability.. Anyway, tonight I took everything back apart to zip tie everything nice and tight...now after all this work, the passenger headlight now flickers and then shuts off, but the driver side turns on every time and the hi beam works too. But the right side hi beam doesnt work. Everything before was working perfectly fine, but now not? Any1 experience this?

 

I haven't had that happen, i would go back and check the connections. maybe when getting everything nice and tight you may have caused a loose connection somewhere..? if they worked fine before doing that and not after then that's the only thing i can think of that would have caused it.. sorry i'm not more help to you.

 

Your answer was good. I took everything back apart today and went through all my connections. I think in I narrowed it down to a ballast being bad. I contacted HIDextra and Michelle is going to send me out a new kit as soon as she gets the old one.

 

What are the odds....I am paranoid everytime my lights turn on...just waiting for another problem.

 

I know the exact feeling..I am really contemplating just leaving the stock bulbs in for good. I cant afford to have this sort of malfunction again on the road
