Default Good trade?

I went to a tire/wheels shop today and they offered to do some trading on my rims for a set of new ones. I am looking at the XD series 797 spy rims (gloss black machined). they really look good in person.

I have a little under 5000 miles on my truck. So their offer is, my stock tires and wheels and $100 for a set of these rims. They will mount and balance my new tires and rims for free.
What are the stock rims and tires really worth? I figure they are giving me around $200 per stock rim/tire combo.

What size are the new rims and the stock ones? Difference between 17's and 20's are pretty big.

They are offering you about $200 per wheel for 17's or $300 per wheel for 20's. $220 for 18's.

Not a bad deal if you were planning taking off your stocks and throwing them in the garage

oh yeah.. that info would be helpfull huh... stock wheels are the 20" chrome clad wheels. i'm sure to someone they would be worth more but??? if i didn't trade they would probably get tossed into storage or something..
So i'm giving up my stock 20's for XD 20"X9" with -12 offset.. they are going to take the air sensors out of my stockers and put them in the new rims.. they told me the total price would be $100 plus tax for the rims and complete install..
by the way, i am planning on putting Baja ATZ 305/55R20's on these rims.. he told me they would fit fine with those tires. anyone know differently?

I'd buy your stock chrome clad wheels if you change your mind...

i think i'm getting a better deal then i first figured.. those wheels list for around $270ish.. i have found one place online for $213ea ($854 per set) plus $100 shipping.. then Hibdons wants $100 to mount and balance (goodyear wanted $130). that's $1054 - $100 that i have to pay / 4 = $238.50... i'm not sure but i figure i will need new lug nuts also. i'm not sure what you would offer but that's what i'm getting out of them right now.. if you really want them your more than welcome to PM me. i wont be getting them installed till at least wednesday.

STV think it over before you do it! I did the exact same thing on my 07 that I just traded. Heres the deal.... The XD's and Tires weight about 180# per wheel and tire. The stockers weigh half that. You are adding roughly 100LBS per corner, I added Bilstiens to my 07 and they still couldnt handle the extra weight. My truck rode like CRAP, thats half the reason I traded it, besides the 77k Miles. I highly suggest that you drive a friends or borrow a set before you do it. But YEAH they look good!!
