Default Two different HEMI badge for the 4th Gen Ram?!?!

Well, I have an 09 Sport and my HEMI badges on the sides are big letters with out the "5.7 liters" below. My mother in Law has a 2010 Big Horn and her badges are just like mine on my truck...Lately I have notice some 4th Gen with the badge that is the HEMI with 5.7 liter. Today, I was putting gas on my truck, and a 4th Gen Ram pulled over at the gas pump next to me. I notice that his also had the HEMI badge with the 5.7, so I ask the guy what year his was and it was a 09 Big horn. Does anybody know why they used two different badges in the same year?

it's just the sport package that doesn't have the 5.7 on the badge.
don't know why

My TRX4 has the 5.7 badge. I think there was a thread on here awhile back that they changed to the Hemi only badge maybe in March or April 09. My truck was built in February.

They changed some time in early 2009 to the HEMI only badge. No reason why, but there were a lot of rumors. Then for the 2010 they went back to the two line, which yotaman has in his pic.

You know this would make sense and i was thinking it had to do with the build date. My has a build date of 04/09.

Now, I dont know for the 2010 cause like I mention in my early post, My In-laws have a 2010 Ram Big Horn and theirs has the big HEMI without the 5.7 liter.

exactly, seems the mid/late 09 builds had just HEMI, but know I have seen 2010's with the pre March 09 style back. My 12/08 build has the 5.7 but I like em both, wouldn't matter if I had the other. Maybe they needed to use up the old Dodge Magnum badges...

It could also be a supplier issue for the 2010's. They may have ran out and went back to the 5.7 badge to keep trucks going out the door. Just an idea.
