I moved up to Westchester County, NY from Austin, TX a few months ago--unfortunately I only have 2WD and the dreaded 3.21 gear ratio. I am looking to change out my rear diff gears and add a Detroit TruTrac LSD.... Can anyone recommend a good shop/mechanic in this area of NY or Southern CT?

Also, my understanding is that I do not need to take the truck into the dealer for any updates for shift points or speedometer calibration...please let me know if I am mistaken.
