I have become tied of the fan going full blast when i get in my truck in the morning (still blowing cold) so i attempted on several occasions to disable the RSCS through the EVIC. uncheck it and exit EVIC. However, when i start the truck the next time, the fan is back on high.
a total of five times, EVIC has conveniently re-applied the check mark to the RSCS for me. the check mark is gone until i turn the truck off. all other EVIC setting can be manipulated w/o any problems (only RSCS).
i know most of you guys have not disabled the RSCS yet but would appreciate if anyone has found similar issues or have any insight.

 

I have the same problem.............I tried at least dozen times. Everytime I shut the truck off and re-start it, the check mark comes back on. I don't know why it does this. I don't like how's it's blowing full blast either. Hopefully someone can shed some light into this.

 

Mine does not do that. When I remote start on a cold morning (below 40F), it will turn on the heated seats and steering wheel, but the A/C display shows "DELAY" and it doesn't really start blowing anything until I've driven a few minutes and there is some actual heat in the system.

 

that's about what i would expect it to do, on the list it goes.

I know this is an old thread but I have this same problem and am being told that it is normal by my dealer. Did anyone get this fixed and if so can you find out what they id to fix it. Thanks

no, YZF, i did not find a solution to this. dealer said "normal operation compared to another truck".
the only person that ever said his truck did something different was Stuart, see above, but i think he was mistaken.
we asked him to get some video for us to show our dealer but we never heard back from him.

 

Thanks jawsdc I wish I would have found this thread before I went to dealer. They changed out my whole instrument clust now my engine hrs are back to 0 and they marked up the dash in a few spot and scratched up the lens cover over the instruments so now I need to go back when they get a new cover for me and let them touch my truck again. I hate half *** techs who dont take care of the customer vehicles.
