I'm seriously thinking of buying this truck tomorrow. Prices are all over the map out there with discounts from $3,000 to $12,000 at various dealers.

The truck I'm looking at buying is prices as follows, what do you think is this a fair deal or should I try to work them some more?

MSRP $38,015
Advertised discounts and incentives $8,520
Out the door $29,495 + tax and tags

I just bought mine...... listed at $43, picked it up for $34. The dealer made $1000 on the sale. I know the guys so they showed me the whole breakdown on it. Out of that, they still had to pay the salesmans commision so they didn't make a lot.

coolidge, research new o9's if possible. you can do better on your 10. the dealer should be able to take 3500 off the sticker plus 7000 for rebates. when i bought my ram trx cc last oct, the dealer offered me the $3500 and 6ooo rebate, but i researched the vehicle and found the rebate was $7000. we renegotiated the deal, the dealer was tryin not to budge, so i made him another offer and that was to go to anther dealer, i was buying a truck that week period. good deals can still be had.

29 +taxes and tags aint bad at all, see if they will throw in a detail in the spring and a few oil changes, and Id say thats a pretty good deal
