well i have been thinking about getting one after "all" of them come out. (k&n) etc. but someone posted that after a week or so our trucks cpu will correct for the extra air, so it will basically do nothing.....

any truth? in the long run i dont want to lose any mpg either, like some have reported.

i have the mufflex 14' magnaflow muffler installed right now.

 

Basically a gimmick until matched with performance exhaust/tuning. For EPA rated mpg, feather the pedal and stay under 55 with MDS.

 

thats sorta what i fig. i usually just run a drop in k&n to save $$ over the long run instead of buying paper filters every oil change etc....
