Default Insurance question (mileage)

When I first got my Ram, we told the insurance company that I was just driving to work and back (7500 m/y). We planned on taking her car everywhere else because it gets better mileage, but the ram is nice to drive. Many more comforts than her car. So I actually drive about 15,000 per year. Should I report that to the insurance company. I'm afraid if I do my insurance will go up too much, and afraid if I don't and something happens, the insurance will deny my claim. Anyone know anything about this. Is it insurance fraud if I don't adjust my policy?

You absolutely should inform the insurance company. Rate wont go up a lot as most are based on 12k-15k per year as standard milage. As long as you dont drive commercially and just work commute and private milage, you shouldnt pay a great deal more. If you dont, as you already pointed out, you may have an issue with the insurance company at a later stage.
