Frustration!!!
basically your gonna buy two anti spark plug foulers that are the same thread size, i think 5/8, take one drill out so when you thread the two together and put the o2 sensor in the end it fits without resistance, then your gonna screw this into the bung on the exhaust, make sure to use anti sieze lube on threads, just a little and do not get any on the o2 sensor, reset computer (can find alternate in manual to d/c battery), turn back and run, if code comes back then use another fouler or some steel wool, on one of my 2004 cats got a code a year later after replacing the battery, and I had to use a piece of metal to reduce to amount of exhaust gas that the sensor was seeing. Hope this helps.
First off i would like to thank everyone for there help in this forum. I took my truck to a different dealer today and they checked my cats, O2 sensors and checked for leaks. They came to the conclusion they think it is my driver side cat. So they are ordering me (2) brand new cats, O2 sensors and a h-pipe. And nothing out of pocket all under warranty. I am going to bring my business to this dealer from now on. They are also about 50 minutes away from my house. But the trip is well worth it. They said they never seen this happen before, but they will take care of it.
Has anyone installed Flowmasters American Thunder catback and had problems. I want to put Flowmasters on the truck but I'm not sure if I should do the full catback or just swap the muffler. I don't want any problems with the check engine light thuogh.
The dealer installed new cats, o2 sensors and h-pipe and so far no engine light. Hopefully this will do it. All under warranty nothing out of pocket. Thanks again for the input!
