Well, my new truck is built. Quad cab 4 X 4 and is sitting at the Warren, Mi., truck plant, 30 min from my house and they won't deliver it.
Dealer said Chrysler has a restriction on all quad cabs and won't deliver any. (W.T.F.)
I assume there is some kind of problem and they want to fix it before they ship.
Sure would like to know the problem
Anybody else heard of this or have a quad ordered?

 

Last I talked to my dealer he didnt say anything about that...mine is set to be built Feb 22nd but ill believe it when I see it...

if you give me the last 8 of your vin, i can tell you where it is and why it is not moving. i.e quality hold etc.

So what is the situation, I was under the impression they did away with the quad cab and were only going with the crew cab and single cab.

 

I am close to purchasing a 4x4 sport quad cab (factory order). I haven't heard anything about them doing away with the quad cab. Have you heard anything yet? There must be a quality control issue. Some recall they are trying to take care of before the truck goes out?

I had my dealer run my VIN today, and this is what came up:


So it was on hold from Feb 2 and as of yesterday was moved to a shipping code..... hope this helps. Maybe soon I will have something to contribute to the forum instead of just lurking!
