Anyone know if the 09's throw a "bulb out" code if we put in an HID kit?

Most kits will come with a ballast box that helps level out the signal sent to the bulb from the truck that help them work. I have not had a bulb out code yet and have had mine for a while now and I use them daily.

I'm not interested in getting hid's...i would have gotten them if it was an option from the factory, but not aftermarket. I'm planning on adjusting my headlights and replacing the bulbs. Going to look into the PIAA...anyone have any luck with any other brands.

FYI...was at the dealer the other day and complained about the lights...lined my slt with the 20's and bighorn package up against a sport. My front end was higher than the sport's...therefore my lights were higher also. Feel bad for you sport guys...probably why there's so much talk about leveling kits.

Will not throw a code, I've had my headlights and fogs on for a month now and no codes. I use them daily.
