Suspension Lift vs. Leveling Kit
With the current problems occuring due to leveling kits what is the safest way to go, suspenion lifts or leveling kits?
I want to do the Mopar 4inch suspension kit and run 35's with 3:55 gears and I don't want to run into unforseen problems down the road on my daily driver so if yall could give me some insight I would def appreciate it.
Thanks!

I raised mine using Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks all around, and 1.5" spacers just in the back. My 4x4 was smooth before and now I have The Shudders. I'm not sure about the official terminology, but I would call my a suspension lift. So I don't think suspension versus leveling kit makes a difference to whether you'll have problems or not.
But, if you go with a Mopar kit and have it installed by a Dodge dealer, you should at least have no trouble with getting stuff fixed under warranty.

MIne has the 2.5 leveling kit from Dodge that raised the back 1 inch as well. Not sure how raising the front and back is considered a leveling kit and not a lift, but it is a leveling kit....
Mine has no issues what so ever. No shudders or anything. It was installed by Dodge though, so if issues arrive, it is up to them.

A suspension lift should be a lot better...it's not the same as a leveling kit..by using a leveling kit you still have the stock struts, control arms etc and the kit just strains your joints...but a suspension lift changing everything which puts your geometry back on line and not at extreme angles that could wear fast...i have a leveling kit and it does shimmy some also

I'm thinking about taking my rear spacers out and lowering the front shock setting from the very top all the way down to the lowest setting. That *should* put the truck back to stock height. Then see how it is and, maybe, take it to the dealer.

Thats what I was wanting to hear. Thanks for the info.
If you have no problem dropping the cash on a suspension lift you might as well go that way. I have a rough country leveling kit, and 10k later have had no issues. I would of loved a suspension lift, but didn't want to spend 2k+ for one. With the leveling kit on, I would definitely not describe my angles as extreme.
