Default Will factory ipod cable and lockpick work together?

I have a 2009 RAM1500 with RER Radio and the factory ipod cable. I've bought a new lockpick (v2.5) to install as I want to be able to enter addresses in motion, install a front camera and be able to monitor the rear camera in motion (we pull a trailer and I can check on the hitch connection while underway).

Can I install the lockpick alongside the factory ipod cable? Does that cause any problems with the lockpick? Is their a particular order in which the cables must be plugged in?

Any advice/input would be appreciated.

Yes both work with the factory ends.
Unplug the connector from the rear of the radio....left side.
I -pod cable is a male and female of the same connection.
Lockpick same.

Plug the i-pod cable into the radio, plug the OEM radio connection into the female i-pod. Plug i-pod into Lock lopick and lock pick into radio.
They piggy back.

I do not think it matters whether you use the lock pick or the ipod connector first. Could be wrong. I had the same setup and I had intermitted sound dropping out....before the i-pod addition though.

Many with lockpicks have had this problem. Do a search.
I took my lockpick out and installed an All Gig. No more sound dropping out....but it gets stuck on the reverse camera often.
Just did all gig a couple of weeks back. Sound dropping out finally bothered me enough to spend the extra money...and do that again.

I have a lock pic for sale......trying to get it fixed first though.
They say there is not problem. There is.
