does anybody know what this means, they shipped to storage [JS] my new truck jan 29. thanx

 

 

I dont think its suppose to ship to storage under normal circumstances is it?

 

I was told when I called Dodge constantly (customer service 866-726-4636 give them ur VIN) during this three months that it is normal. They have no way to get logistics squared away right when the truck comes off the line so they send it to an overflow lot until logistics are finished then its picked up and shipped. I called Dodge so much and bugged the dealer so much while waiting on mine when chrysler did start shipping they marked mine HOT and sent it right away, came on a truck with a bunch of Camaro SS's.

 

Mine was marked hot too...seems to have done no good though since it wont be built until Feb 22....

 

Here are all holds on production at Warren Truck. If your truck is in JS status it could be because it is awaiting one of the items listed below. Mine is also in JS status showing a ship date of the 3rd week of March, so I presume that it is on hold due to the Nav. & backup camera...

do you know if the sport hood was on hold until Jan 20th?

 

Dont know - just posting what I was told on another forum. My salesman is telling me that my truck shipped, but my friend says that it is in JS status... I dont know what to think...

 

My truck is officially shipped as of 2-10... Still waiting. I can't believe tat it takes more then one day to get a truck from Warren to Novi - about a 30 mile drive.

 

Did you find out what the hold up was?
