Default Dodge Service Hourly Labor Rate

Does anyone work for Dodge or have an idea what the hourly labor rate is for someone in their service department that would put on lifts. The 4 inch Mopar lift kit for the 2010 Ram 1500 says it takes 7-8 hours to install. The dealer is quoting me $3,500 for the lift and labor. The lift is $2,394 online with shipping included so that's $1,106 for the labor which means $138-$158/hour labor. Does that sound right?

my dealer over here told me $500 for install. i found the MOPAR 4" lift on ebay for just under $2000. Think i may go that route if i dont get the guts to go for the 6" and hope for the best.

They all want to rape us, **** the dealer go to a front end shop. Our dealer is 100 to 105 an hour around here but I never get anything done that I pay them for except oil and lube and things that on the dealer can do like star scan etc.

Item Description:
New Limited Lifetime Warranty

This product is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty, a Mopar Performance first. In summary, the warranty covers all Mopar suspension components included in this part number (no labor or freight), except those subject to normal wear, for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the vehicle the parts were originally installed on. The warrantor is the system manufacturer, not Mopar, Chrysler LLC, or the dealership selling the product. For Warranty details call the Mopar Tech Line at 888.528.HEMI.

the real issue is if you have this superlift covers the lift and it won't void your lifetime powertrain warranty were ever its installed, I would imagine as long as it was installed at shop, even then if you did it, they would have to prove you installed it wrong and that caused the damage.
