Default Finally getting my Hemi 4x4

Well I did it! Tomorrow, provided the world doesn't end tonight, I pick up my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Crew Cab 4x4 Hemi Big Horn Edition with the 3.92 gears. The dealer gave me a great deal on the truck and didn't rob me blind on my trade. I have always wanted this truck so for me it is my dream truck. This truck has the center console, the stock dual exhaust and quad headlight's. I am also having them put on a set of mopar side steps (so the kid's can get in) and a spray-in bedliner. I cannot wait til tomorrow I have attached a picture that I took of it tonight, once I get it tomorrow I will post a better picture. I am just so happy to be part of the Hemi family now. I think I am overly excited and I do not know haow I am going to sleep tonight.

Congrats! Since you have the better laramie wheels on the old truck you should tell them you want those on the new truck.

Depends on preference, I actually like the 5 spoke design much better than the Laramie wheels. Not to mention I don't like that much chrome on a truck.

Congrats on the trade up!

All in all, how much did it cost you to upgrade?

I got over 9K taken off the sticker price because of rebates and I got the truck at invoice(Thank you USAA). I put a couple thousand down and Wala!! new truck. My payment is only $15 more per month. As for the rims I am going in this morning to try to get them to swap them over. I hope it works, I like the chrome better then the painted look. Hopefully they have the running boards in stock to so they can put them on.

USAA is awesome! make them switch the tires so you get your old with new meats. As for the running boards, did you work that into the deal? The OEM boards arent cheap almost $800 installed.

As for the tires they told me this morning that they are going to check into it but it looks like if they do it then I get my tires to. I do not mind that to much because the tires are brand new and have about 500 miles on them. The only problem is they are street tires and I bought them with the intentions of having them on a 2wd not 4wd so they are only 32" instead of the 33" and they are for street. So if they swap out the rims I will just take the tires off them and put an All-terrain tire on them and sell the street tires. As for the running boards I got them to add them and a spray-in bedliner in the deal. This is the third vehicle that I have bought from the same salesman so they really take care of me. For anyone local it is Pomoco on Jefferson Ave. Ask for Angelo.
