Default 4wd lock?

ive owned many 4wd trucks all 2500's with manual transfer cases, with 4lo and 4hi, what is up with this 4wd lock? i assume that is 4 hi. and operates as regular 4 hi or is it different, shift at 55 mph or less and drive at any speed . thanx

I had a Durango that said 2wd, 4hi, 4lo, and neutral but it never went completely into 2wd, when on ice in 2wd the front and rear wheels spun. It was a part time deal.
This truck says 2wd,4hi, 4lo, Neutral and 2wd is actually 2wd. Thank god I hated that I was always worried about sharp turns and stuff since I knew the Durango always had some power to the front wheels.
