The last two times I have had my truck at the dealer they gave me a copy of the inspection sheet. One of the items "inspected" was a cabin air filter. On both sheets it was marked green or good.

Looking at the Wix and Purolator website, I dont see a listing for a cabin air filter.

Is there a cabin air filter in the '09 Rams?

 

Have them show you what they are inspecting as I don't think there is one to check. There is nothing in the Service or Owners manuals that I have seen???

 

My son took his avenger for an oil change they told him he needed a cabin air filter I said for him to show them where it is and leave it. My son came home and it was just the air filter and they wanted 28 bucks I got a regular fram for 9. They charged 15 to change the third brake light bulb. Gotta let them do something.

 

I have the same inspection sheet from my dealer and it says N/A for cabin air filter. We dont have one or they didn't check it.I have a volant cai and they wrote CAI on the filter of the sheet.

 

Just for my info, where is the air intake for the cabin????
