Audivox Headrest DVD
Well I ordered the Audiocox color match headrest system for my 2010 Ram 1500 Sport with Alpine stereo and leather buckets. I ordered part number CYB18LP052S, these DO NOT MATCH MY factory seats. I figured I wanted these ones as they have the parchment stitching on them like my factory seats. They do say the are for the Laramie edition w/parchment stitching, are the Laramie seats a darker shade of gary compared to a sport? Does anybody know if there other headrest system will match my seats?
I think there are only two interior colors offered, dark slate and the tan/beige. That sucks they don't match. I had planned on adding a set of these when I save some $. How bad is the difference in color? Can you post some pics?
Check on the install too. I found this thread https://dodgeforum.com/forum/4th-gen...-crew-cab.html
and it seems there are some problems. Also, the aux cable coming from the vent into the aux jack on the head unit sounds a bit strange. Surely they can hook everything up to where all the wires are hidden, if not, I think I would find another option. Keep us posted.

You can keep the wires hidden if you choose to use the built in FM mod (not great sound quality), or purchase an ALLGig along with there A/V cable and use that as an A/V in and/or out.
If these headrests don't work out I might look at some other manufactures, does anybody know if anybody makes matching headrests for the 1500 sport with the Dark Slate Gray with parchment stitching?

The factory overhead does not us a FM Mod, it plays direct, as it uses the built in DVD player in the dash as far as I know. There are however a few mopar overheads that do use a FM mod. But if you go with the factory original, there is no FM mod.
Also went and checked on the color difference between my Sport and a Laramie, the seats are identical. I returned my headrests to the place I bought them, they are going to order me a new set, telling Audiovox that the ones I have now do not match any of the 2010's. I will let you know if the new ones are any different.
