well.. with show season right around the corner (dub show the 7th) im thinking about a few more mods to the truck.

Top of my list right now is some leather seat inserts. Prolly red.. id like to keep the overall leather seat i have, but somehow incorporate new red leather or suede.

next option is some cab lights.. but i want GM style... i know its not a popular mod.. but i think some amber lights up there would be cool on my low truck. Dont worry.. they would be go-recon lights and smoked out...



i dont want to go crazy.. just nice subtle mods..

im re-making my bumper insert... the one i made now sits a lil crooked.. so i gota get it straight



of coarse i have to get my door panel inserts painted to match the dash.

im not too big on stereo upgrades because i usually listen to am radio (love Rush)

i might get some RBP black exhaust tips.. but damn.. $300 for tips.. my wife would stab me...

anyway.. these are my thoughts.. have any ideas to help?

 

I think that if you carry the same theme on your seat inserts with red/silver/black that you have elsewhere it would be perfect.

 

i think that some custom stitching on your seats would be pretty sick. get someone to stitch it up to match the tribal everywhere else. being as how it would be done by a person, it may cost a pretty penny; but it would look awesome!

The leather seats you have, are they from the factory? If so I would imagine you might as well just go to Katzkin and get new covers since the sides of yours are most likely vinyl, I had a Durango R/T with leather and suede seating and the back and sides were vinyl...I believe from the trucks I have seen the side of my vinyl seats are indentical. I could be wrong but I don't think so.

 

I love the list, other then the lights. I think cab lights should only go on a 4x4. I'm sure you debadged it to clean it up, the lights just add clutter. IMHO

Seats would be cool, hit up an embrodery shop and get some tribal put in the red insert. That would be sick.

Deffinately love the truck though, nice work.

 

i wish i had a money tree in the backyard too... then my wife would stop giving me a guilt trip every time i put synthetic oil in the truck or fill up with 93 octane lol.

im going to call about the inserts today.. most of the mods i have arent really that expensive, they just look it.

my intake was free.. all my custom paint was done for $1200.. borla was $80 on ebay... drop was $240 (installed myself) ...subs was $220 on ebay... shifter was $90....

people drop $2500 on wheels and a lift and that comes to more than all of my mods combined (except wheels)

see where this is going.. over the coarse of the year i really didnt spend as much on the truck as people think i did.. i just try to get the best deal on whatever i buy and am not afraid to get stuff cheap on ebay

 

Doc... trucks looks great- just a humble opinion, i would not put cab lights on. But I WOULD be calling procharger and seeing what set-up they have in the works!
