I'm wishing I'd bought a sport now seeing your truck lowered with all the body colored stuff...all the sport stuff should be identical to the chrome counterparts on a Laramie right? IE foglight cutouts in the bumper and grill and door handles and everything...? Your truck looks SICK dude I don't think I'm gonna slam mine down that far but the blacked out and painted wheels do look ****, I'd like to do mine up in a blue version of yours almost lol.

Hmmm..... I haven't made a "Hard" right turn since I dropped it further, I'll have to check. Mine did not rub with the 2/4 spring (economy) kit.

DO IT! That was my second choice. I wanted yellow first, blue second and then orange third. Wife said she would take my man card if I bought a yellow truck and she didn't like the blue sooooo.............

I can't complain, she did agree to order it loaded with everything I wanted from the factory like I wanted.

Wish I would have got yellow or blue as there are a lot of orange modified ones out there now.

I have even been looking at repainting it B5 blue, Plum Crazy purple or the charger daytona green.

lol..."furious" fushcia? Sadly, some of the cars I see here on base in Texas are just....horrific. But in the words of one of the drivers of said cars "dat shyte's hot yo!"

ie:
two tone yellow/green chrysler 300m with Diggums the frog on it (yes, the cereal character)
dark blue crown vic with huge white lettering and "kellogs" "frosted flakes" and "tony the tiger" on it
a multitude of orange "longhorn" vehicles aka "donks" such as a crown vic on 33"s, an old monte carlo lifted on 30"s, etc...

Blue/black and lowered sounds much better to me...gonna be a pain to swap out the mirrors though won't it? Or is it just a panel on the backside of the mirror that you can pop off and swap the chrome for body color? Same with the door handles?

I would have to rip up my own man card if I painted it pink.

Donks = DOH!

Haven't seen one yet, but it wouldn't surprise me at this point...

The sad part is the diggums car is a brand new chrysler 300m...I mean old cars you buy cheap just to customize is one thing, I can at least sort of understand the logic behind spending the same amount of money on custom stuff as you would a new car, but to do that to a brand new car....?

Then again I'm sure there's some 4x4 rock crawling enthusiasts looking at at RJC799's truck thinking the same thing...lol.

edit: Actually I want to add this though - depending on where you're at obviously makes a bit of a difference, but I would say the majority of truck owners, just like the majority of bike owners, never or rarely utilize the full potential of their vehicle anyway. IE like that power wagon thread rock climbing someone just posted - awesome video, sick plug for the capabilities of that truck - but I doubt there's very many power wagon owners pushing the limits of their truck like that. I bought one to transport my bike and occasionally tow things, and bought the quad cab because I don't often have more than 1 or 2 people riding with me and figured I didn't need the crew cab. For my purposes, my truck will perform those duties with ease whether it's dropped, lifted, supercharged, on 20"s, 24"s, whatever. I would imagine much of you are in the same situation, you bought your truck for what it will do 90% of the time with an allowance for that 10%. Functionality with looks.

Putting 33" rims on a crown vic has nothing to do with functionality that I can see...
