Double Din
Only problem, people don't steal the OEM radios, but they do steal aftermarket radios, my insurance company actually would want me to carry extra insurance if I put an aftermarket radio. I have a buddy put the same or similar one you put, I think he lost sound especially when watching movies. Looks pretty good do they give you the kit with it to make it fit
No I do not have the Alpine option.
As for the theift issue, you are right but I wanted a Nav and DVD unit and I hate the cords of having individual ones. I wanted this unit for Nav during trips, DVD for my son and back up camera and Sat radio are a bonus. Buying the factory Nav unit even off Ebay for $1500 + was not an option for me. I have had this radio in my last two vehicles, 2006 Dodge Ram and 2008 Dodge charger and have not had any issues with theift (knock on wood). I haven't tried the DVD feature in this vehicle but no problems with sound in the past.
The dash kit and wire harness are not included, but I was able to use the same one that I had from the Charger.
