To those with the Exstang Solid Fold I had a few questions. First does it fit inside the cab if you remove it. So if you are out some place and need the whole bed you can just take it off and place it folded up inside the cab?

Second how is the fit and finish after you have had it awhile. I have not seen one in real life accept at the dealer and it was a scaled down demo version that looked cheap. The edges looked like they had black tape on them. Anyone have some good close up shots so I could get a better look then what the Exstang site has.

I am torn between the Solid Fold or Retrax. Was looking at Bakflip but seems there are a lot of iffy comments out there about quality.

 

My dad has one on his silverado, nice but I don't like how it sits on top of the bed rails, don't think it will fit inside the cab its about almost as wide as the truck, easily removed and now rales added on the truck, can close the tailgate with it down, with that said, I went with the bakflip F1, like it. I would rather have a fiberglass top, I had one before and loved it, just not easy to remove, currently thinking of selling my f1 to get a fiberglass top since I just bought a small trailer so I don't need to remove the top to carry my ATV anymore, anyone interested let me know.
