Last week I installed my new mufflex 24 kit. I did not have time to do it myself and with all the problems I have read about the clamps I decided to bring it to a shop. Long story short the install was a B$#%@ they said. Nothng lined up like it was supposed to. The mechanic said he installed another kit like this on another truck and he had a similar problem. Anyway the mechanic had to bend some custom pipes to get everything to line up properly. The factory pipe's just where not lining up and I was being very **** about making it look exactly like stock(after all that is why I bought this kit) Anyway the sound is exactly what I was looking for. At highway speed's you really do not even know there is a muffler there(perfect for me) At about 55-60 there is definetly a small drone but only when the MDS kicks in. The sound up through the gears is great I can finally tell I have a Hemi without annoying myself to death. Over all the muffler was a good choice for sound as for price I paid about $260 shipped for the muffler and another $115 for install. So I spent $375 for the whole system. The guy at the shop said he could have got the same muffler and made the pipes(which he did anyway) and it would have saved me about a $100 bucks. So next time I will go back to the shop and get it done. No more pre-fab kit's for me.
The Tonno Pro was a complete waste of money. Is does not sit flat on the front or the back and the tailgate, tonneau cover connection looks horrible. Now I understand that we have a weird spioler thing but I feel that the aftermarket world has not paid that much attention to it yet. I am going to keep the Tonneau Cover until I can get the money to buy either a cap or a fiberglass tonneau cover. Over all I would not reccommend this cover to anyone and I would never buy it again. PS I did my research and evrything told me it would fit and be water resistant right now there is no resistance at all.

 

My 24" Mufflex fit perfect. Was a very easy install in my driveway. Seems a lot of people don't realize that the tips are fully adjustable so if the alignment to the cutouts is off a little, all you do is loosen them and reposition. They have a ball type clamp that will allow for a couple of inches of movement up and down, side to side. Mine was only off a fraction of an inch though.

 

I am glad that I am not the only one who had issues with the fit of the Mufflex, wish I had of taken mine to a shop to install.

 

I don't have any regrets with my 24" Mufflex, loved it since the day I put it on. I didn't have an ounce of trouble with the installation or fit when I did mine, took me about a hour total to do the job.

Take a look at the BackFlip F-1 tonneau.

 

The Backflip G2 looks nice on the new ram also it lays very flat.

 

I have the Mufflex. Took me about an hour in the driveway. The clamps loosened on me but I re-tightened and has been fine since. No idea what ball clamps are. My tips are not adjustable in any way. One actually sits a bit low, no matter what I tried at the muffler exits. I have the Lorado roll up cover. Works great and looks good too. Easily tightened with a couple of adjustment ***** on the front of the bed.

I got mine when there were no listing for the '09 yet. so it is off of a 2008. still fit well.

I have the 24 as well. Sounds awesome too!! It wasn't too hard to put on but I still have air escaping around connections. Bought a sealer which seemed to help. Air wrench really required to get it tight. I even cut two extra slots as suggested by maufacturer to get it clamped down. One tip. Throw old socks on the exhaust tips to avoid scratching them. I have the Agricover and love it. I bought their tailgate seal and it worked like a charm keeping the elements out.
