Very good point but easily corrected. Just install some clear body tape behind them. No rubbing of the paint after that.

 

The dealer installed my mudflaps so how long are they warrantied for to not wear out my paint? Man there is always something dealer inflicted, they should know this and put something behind it. I have a roll of thick 3m clear protective tape now gotta make a template. I am only taking one off then slide the tape in behind, oh crap might as well take them off and clean back there.
