Default water spots?!?!?!?

WHen I first got my truck the paint was flawless, I can only assume it was kept in the showroom. I put 2 coats of Meguiars NXT on it and it looks sweet. Last week I drove it to the mountain to go snowboarding. drove well and handled the snow etc but I got it home, washed and waxed and CRAP there are tons of water spots everywhere even on the windows. What is really crappy is when I got home I washed all the crud off but I guess the mountain rain and crud really does a number on the finish.

is there any way to get this off by hand?3

Default Clay

Buy the Mother's Clay bar set. Little pricey, but it will shave off any oxidation on the clear coat as well as any tar, sap, etc. You will be amazed how smooth your paint will feel. It is worth the extra time and effort. You will need to wax after using, because it also removes any residual wax.

Hint: You can just use water to lubricate the clay instead of the expensive spray that is included in the kit.

Hope this helps.

Will the clay work on small spots? I have some little raised spots/specs that look like some type of sap or bug crap that will not rub off. I was hoping to just remove those spots and just wax where I use the clay? Or any other ideas. These specs are very hard. Like the ones you get on the front bumper that seem like you need a brillo pad to remove.

Yep, clay will work on these as well. You will just have to wax where you use the clay. You will see how much crap is on you paint after using the clay.
