Talking Almost there!

the other day i got my exhaust to where i like it better. changed to a flowmaster super 40, removed the resonators, and some long tips. sounds much better now.

and today i got a new sound system installed. morel speakers and a custom speakerbox under the back seat with 2 10" subs and a 5 channel amp.

also ordered my lift kit, now just waiting for it to get here along with the rims and tires i ordered. the rims are going to take the longest since they have to drill the holes for them. i was going to go with the xd series rockstar rims, but they are really getting to be too common. i want one more my own style. going with the 6" BDS, 37" Nitto Trail Grapplers, and RBP 93R's ( black with chrome inserts).

as soon as i have the left on, i will take pictures of everything and post them on here for ya to see how it looks.

wow, your truck is going to look sick! I'm excited for you! I still love the xd series and hope to put on some XD778's on my ride when my tires wear out. I'm thinking of just doing a 3" body lift with some 35's. My truck will never leave the pavement (that's what my lifted wrangler with baja claws is for!) so it's mainly for looks.

i was looking at the one on performance accessories.com. you can get just a 3" body lift with bumper brackets for like $350. They are also selling a kit that looks like a leveling/spacer kit + the body lift to claim 4-6" of lift to clear 35's.

For warranty reasons, I think I'm just going to stick to the 3" body and be done with it. I'm really hoping to clear 35's, but I'm not so sure this can be accomplished.
