Default ren or rer ???

Hello everyone i have a question i am hoping someone can help me with.. here goes.. I purchaced my new 2009 dodge larime in May of 2009 but when it arrived it had the mygig RER with nav but i did not want that option at that time so they took it out and switched it with an REN while i waited.it only took them about 15 mins to unistall it. Now i wish i would have kept it .. My question is the front of the mygig says it is a REN but i still have the Nav buttons on it plus in the instrument cluster it still has nav options..but i can not use it. Would i have to purchace the whole RER unit.. I would also like to use the uconnect but it is unavailable??any sugestions???
Thanks for any assistance

The REN needs a separate module to use the UConnect. With the RER it is built in. If you want the NAV functions, you'll have to switch the radio.

An RER is kinda pricey so not sure what to tell you to do.

Did they give you a rebate of any type you traded down a grand at least. If you did not get a rebate Iwould go back to them and say hey you owe me, I want the uconnect working, I only said I didn't want the Nav. I am surprised you have a REN with Nav buttons. I don't think that is an option.
