Looks like I'll be picking up a 2010 TRX tomorrow. I'm trading my 2009 ST for one that has all the features that I wanted(hemi, floor shifter, fog lights, etc) I figured, I'm spending all this money trying to make the truck what I want, but in the end it will still be lacking. Don't get me wrong, I love the truck, its just I want a little more out of it. This way, I'm keeping my payments the same, but am getting the truck I wanted.

So now onto the questions! Who here has the 4x2 TRX? What exactly is the difference between it and a regular 4x2? Whats the handling like, does it slip alot? I'm going with a TRX because for one, I dont need a full blown 4x4 where I'm at right now. Also the only 4x4's the dealer in my area had were fully loaded, 40-50k price tags. I tried for one lol...its just to much money. The one I'm getting has everything I wanted...

I have a TRX 4x2

Mine doesn't have dual exhausts which I would like.

It does have tow hooks which I don't want or need.

It has 2 tone paint which I like.

It rides same as the others.

It has Wrangler AT/S tires 275/70/16 which are great tires but a shade noisy

The handling is same as others

I have the 3.55 open diff. Haven't noticed any slipping, especially with the AT/S tires.

If I had it to do over again I would get and SLT without Bighorn pkg. and aftermarket the 2 tone paint

I'm totally ecstatic about it, I love the way the hemi handles, I can feel the power a lot more than the 4.7. Its got everything I wanted so I don't need to do anything to the interior, I was spending so much money trying to update my ST to a higher end it just wasn't worth it. This way I can put that money towards other things in my life right now. I was able to pay off my other truck so I didn't go upside down, and my payments are only slightly higher with this truck! All together I am very satisfied with the decision, and the truck is great!

I love my TRX4!! Like was already stated the only thing else i wanted was the duals which i am gonna be adding

 

last nov i bought the 09 trx 4x4 cc, hemi,3.92 gears, 2 tone paint blue and gray, all the stuff that goes with it and put a jason cap on her. it is aptly called BIG BLUE!
