2010 Hemi 2500 Defuels Between Shifts?
I noticed on my new 2500 Hemi that it defuels heavily between shifts. It is quite noticeable between the 1-2 upshift. Is this defueling normal?
I'm not sure if it is defueling or the computer is changing the actual throttle position, but yes this is normal. I assume its part of the torque management system and is intended to protect the tranny some.
Thanks for the reply. My truck is a 2500 and I was under the impression that it did not have the TMS in it. However, I agree it's most likely programming to save the tranny some abuse. On occasion it feels like the 1-2 upshift mimmicks a standard tranny where it's foot out of the gas, make shift, put foot back into the gas. This occurs mostly at light throttle driving.
