After i'm done drying and waxing the truck i take it for a spin around the block. Park at the house and give it a once over with the microfiber. Does the trick for me

I usually wash, drive up and down the street to get excess water off. Dry it, and let it sit in the sun so all the water dries up where it is and doesn't run all over.

Yeah I do the same, run it through wash, by the time I get home its just damp enough to wipe down with a microfiber and it looks great. I swore after owning 2 back cars prior I would never again own a black vehicle. But Ive had pretty good luck with this one, look awesome. Have I mentioned I freakin LOVE this truck.

I loved my black Titan when it was clean, there wasn't a better look anywhere. But, I washed it so much that it wasn't worth it. It also had the leaking mirrors and other places. I love a clean truck and white is sooooo much easier to maintain. I just take some quick wax and a microfiber after a few hours and wipe the leaks from the mirrors and bed rail caps.

X3

black is AWESOME for about 36 hours after the car wash. my car wash bill has dropped by half over the last year. for you guys that always keep your dark colors clean, my hats off.
also difficult to keep west texas pin-striping off the dark the colors. i'm very happy w/ the stone white so far.

Exactly why I didn't get black this time. My black Denali looked bad *** when it was clean, but drove me crazy trying to keep it that way.

This brilliant black really has a lot of metallic in it, tons of colours so it doesn't look as bad as a just black truck. It recommends not taking it thru car washes in the manual somewhere or I read it somewhere, the antenna get ripped off and something about it's size it gets too much pressure. It doesn't look good either they don't do a good job on the wheels nor do they do the jambs properly or under the hood.
I used to be fanatical about cleaning my car or truck when I could do it myself now my wife has to do it and well she does a good job just not often enough.

With the tire shine I bought this sponge with a curve for doing tires, you spray the stuff on the sponge then apply, it goes on nice and not too much, we use half what we used to when we used to spray it on and on a breezy day unless in the garage when you spray it on the tires it gets on the whole truck and well you see it on black. My way after it sits for a few minutes go over it with one of those dust free microfibre cloths and take the excess off so it does get all over or park in the sun seems to make it soak into the tire or more likely evaporate but the tire still looks nice. What I don't like is the dam what letters from the factory they are ugly and not worth the work to keep them white. I need to drive the truck more so the tires will wear out faster they seem to have less traction when I drive, must be the hand controls....what I blame it on anyway. Don't think a cop will believe it.
