Default changed sparkplugs 09, 50,000

Changed the plugs today, 50,000 miles ... Our mechanic help me and for 50,000 miles he said the plugs looked good.
Went back with champion platnium from Napa 2.89 each... Cleaned the K&N filter and re sprayed it.
Lets roll another year and see if I can hit 90,000 - 100,000 ... lol
Thanks

You drive a lot. I bet you back is thanking you that you didn't buy a Tundra... there is one here at work, driving it feels like it is trying to throw my back out.

I thought the plugs were supposed to be changed at 30000 miles? Aren't you worried about warranty?

No, we check them at 30,000 and were fine. Today they looked good also. I guess if they damaged something they would not honor that part?

i'm with combo on this one, mine will be changed @ 30K (5.7L) just to satisfy the warranty gestapo. i'm guessing they have wide latitude when it comes to denying claims based on "poor" maintenance.

We have 10000 KM's or 6000 miles will be one year March 27 and have had 4 oil changes so I have over done it there but, after 3 months even only a few thousand miles the oil is dirty so it gets changed. If it were to still be clean I would let it go but we drive mostly city and a lot of short trips so it's not to good for the motor that is why I like to keep it fresh. Old School alll the way on the oil. But the spark plugs????
They must have a price i willl have to call and see what I am in store for in 2 years when I have that many miles. Or should I say 6 years. Better pull them so they don't rust in after few years, but I hear the plug wires are glued on is that true? How do you get them off?
