On my old jeep all of the aluminum castings under the hood were covered in corrosion(white powder). It was worst on the alternator. How do I keep that from happening on my RAM?? I would like the castings to stay pretty...

 

Just wash under hood often, keep the salt and dirt off of that stuff. It looks like crap under these hoods, I think they could have made it look more like a motor and not a plastic toy.
