Fast is relative.

Kind of like when someone with a tricked out Supra would try to get around me at a light when i was out cruising around my old TA. I bet they felt the same way as the OP lol.

This truck is a slug IMO, but it runs ok for what it is..

Ha, I had the exact opposite happen to me the other day. I was leaving work and came up on a Mercedes C300 that gunned it at the green. So the next green light i was ready. Light turned green and we both punch it. He kept up the first 30 feet then i walked him. By 60 he was about 6-8 lengths behind. At the next red light the guy wouldn't even look at me lol.

So i drove home feeling all proud only to find out later that the C300 runs a 15.3 1/4 mile and does 0-60 in 6.9 seconds. Complete buzz kill. Took the all the fun out of whooping a Mercedes.

i take it as a compliment that he even wanted to race old my truck. lol

most can beat me off the line, but they're surprissed when i pull it right to 100.
pass that i'm limited till i get a tuner.

Always someone faster, hell I was at the light and got walked by a hoveround with a blue hair at the wheel.

Really a ford (late nenties model) hung in front of me today on the second light, after I walked him, probably a little different outcome if I would of used the elec. shifter, but really always someone faster especially when they done extra work, just move on, especially when you're up against a gocart.

Disclaimer: I don't endorse street racing, but S&*t happens sometimes!

I once got schooled by an old lady, about 60, in a Volvo 740 Turbo Wagon. I was driving a '72 Charger at the time with a 400 Magnum Big Block in it. Worst part was, I had a couple friends with me and she had her Mom with her!!! She pulled up behind me at the theatre and said, "Don't feel bad, the hubby has done it up a bit." Stock, those things pulled 7.8 0-60.... no idea how fast this one was but I jumped on her and she walked around me like I was standing still.

Like said, someone is always faster, just hope it isn't the little old lady from Pasedena.

Yeah

I love my truck, wouldn't trade it for the world. I guess i just hear about all the people spinning tires in the 09's but that seems difficult in this truck stock.

I will accept the loss, and move on to driving like im 60....

Remember our trucks are limited by the software they contain, not counting the governors, if you want to unleash the power maybe get a tuner or powerchip to bypass them, oh and remember you are still driving a big, square, heavy, anti-aerodinamical truck
