Default backflip or extang?

I'm looking for a folding cover. Is there one of these that stands out from all others? Can you drive at highway speeds while partially folded?

I have the xtang solid fold on my 09, crew cab, with ram boxes. Yes you can use it in place and partially folded at high way speeds.

In fact the xtang removes fully in about 30 seconds when needed. I carry tools and ladders under the cover. Never have a problem with leaking or water when raining or snow.

dont buy the bakflip.!! crappy customer service. "ok" product.

extang. best cust. service in basically any industry in the u.s.a.

the trifecta is a nice cover. the revolution seems to be the hottest thing from them right now..

i have the bakflip since oct now. does not leak at all. really happy with it. install in less than a hr by myself with a few beers. it sits flat on he bed and when you lock your tail you cannot open it all, which is a good thing so everything is secure.

i bought it through a third party so i really didnt have to deal with costumer service.

hope his helps out.

Thanks for the info. I'm leaning towards the extang solidfold. I think extang is in Ann Arbor close to where I live. It would be good if I could support a local place. As long as it's a good product.

hammerhead. perfect!! i live nearby also. i had a small crack in a 5yr. old cover. i drove to their shop in A2. they quit making mine. so they told me to pick any top i wanted. i picked the trifecta, which they didnt have in stock, but that was ok. the PRESIDENT of the company dropped it off at my house and helped me install it on his way home from work!!

i honestly feel bad for not sticking with them on my new truck. i fell for the bakflip which after having some issues, and the lack of customer service. i swore i would never again buy anything but extang. truly stand up guys, in a world that is in a never ending downward spiral these days......

Extang nice, dad has it, but Im leary of the aluminum skin, my F1 is impact/dent resistant, had a few instances no damage to the outside, the underskin has a minor dent in the aluminum skin, but you don't see it when its closed. Oh yeah takes me 45 seconds to take off, and looks overall better on the truck than the extang.

I also am looking at purchasing a extang TRIFECTA for the ease of use and quickness.

On my 3rd Extang cover right now, have the REvolution on my 09 Crew Cab TRX. Great product and even better customer service. Had a 5 year old cover that ripped as I was snapping it back down, called them and asked what a new cover would run, the rep asked me what cover I had, when I bought it and what was wrong with it. Told them and they fedexed me one the next day under warranty. A week after I put it on, my son stuck a lacrosse stick thru it, called to get another cover expecting to pay and they saw I just got the cover and sent me another one free of charge. When it came time to get a cover on the new truck, there was no question where I was going. Like the way it looks and fits and have had no issues with leakage except when I hit the edge with a power washer directly.

What's the difference between the Extang solid fold and Triflecta?

Is any of them paintible?

Is it possible to fold the "last" part aswell (and put it standing up against the back window?)
