Default AllGig Problems

Installed my allgig today, got everything hooked up and ready to role and nothing!!! Went to hook up my laptop to the USB cable and it said it was not connected. Tried everything from disconnecting the battery again, sitting in the truck letting everything power down and still no connection. Any ideas?????

Did you load the correct software on the AllGig before installing it? You need the proper software installed on the AllGig in order for it to work.

I installed mine without any problems but when I went to update it later on with my laptop I got the same message. Very frustrating since I had installed the usb cable to make updates easy. Turned out the connection to the Allgig box is loose and if I jiggle the cable it connects and disconnects. I never did call to compain. The instructions do say to update it before you install it though.

Well don't know what was different today from last night, uninstalled the drivers, redid them, plugged it in and after a couple of minutes, it showed up, updated it and everything works now. Did not do anything different today that I did last night but at least it works!!!
