Default Soft tonneau leak

I have a Torzatop soft tri-fold tonneau cover. I actually like the look and quality of the cover but I noticed I kept getting water underneath. I recently discovered that I think the water is pooling on the top of the tailgate and seeping back under the top where it meets the tailgate. The design of the new tailgate seem like a bad design to allow for water to pool up there. Anyone deal with this same issue and figure out a solution? I do not want a hardcover so that is not an option for me. It seems like any soft tonneau that goes straight across the tailgate would have the same problem.

I have the same tonneau installed on my truck, and i just applied the length of weather stripping that was supplied with the cover. I was also nervous about the water pooling and running in, but i have not had any issues.

My TorzaTop came with a vinyl "flap" that i ended up cutting off as it impeded the tailgate from closing.
