Anyone know how to remove the black plastic piece under the door panel that is bolted to the door? I took the bolts out but it is still hooked to something. Trying to get some more Dynamat in there!!!

It does look interesting, I have been curious myself. I think the window everything all comes out with it. You will have to disconnect the rods to the outer door handle if any, wiring will probably have to be moved some, probably some clips that hold it in place while it gets screwed on. Let us know on your progress. You might save yourself some work and just put one of those foam deals behind the speaker, as far as the sound of the door closing I believe it is insulated enough sounds like a nice solid "chunk" no "ping" or "pong". Have fun.
