Is my salesmen BSing me?
I ordered a new crew cab on 3/12/10. I talked to my dealer on 3/24 and he told me that my truck is being built in St. Louis (which I know is BS because there not built there anymore) and that I have a build date of 4/13/10. My question to you guys is do they schedule build dates out that far or did he just give me that date to get me off his back?
Seeing as how he said it was being built in St. Louis, he has lost all credibility. Build dates can be scheduled out for quite a while so 4/13 is possible, but the question is do you trust him?

You do know that wikipedia is not actually factual, just opinions that can be edited by anyone. While the information is often truthful, sometimes it is not.
The St. Louis plant is indeed closed and is not producing Rams
The Ram brand is also still a part of Dodge contrary to what has been thought. That is why you will always still see the words Dodge inside and out on your Ram. There is a separation though for marketing purposes. But the VIN will still always be a Dodge VIN.
Allpar just did an interview with the Ram CEO at the New York auto show. Has all the facts.
