The full hitch is heavier duty, but it looks like both of them are only Class 3 hitches. The factory receiver is a class 4

Get the one from the dealer, it fits, bolts in......I believe no drilling . So you don't have the 7 wire connector or the 4 wire built into your bumper next to the license plate either then? Kryp...did you plan on towing when you bought the truck if so you are doing this kinda backwards...no? Anyway its all a matter of throwing cash at it cuz the truck can do it.

Curt mfg where I got my class 4 from. Looks real good n is solid. I got a spare one if anyone's interested. Just no hardware but u can order it or get some grade 8s. i believe part 14374 if I'm not mistake. Thicker wall n hardware then class 3.

I bought the first one. I already have towed 3 four wheelers to go hunting, my foxbody, and my buddies boat he purchased while his truck was in the shop. Never had a problem. On the hunting trip we drove for 5 hours each way so 10 hours of towing. I never saw a problem or felt a problem. I dont see myself pulling anymore weight than what I already have. I dont want a 32' camper or a yacht so im happy with the way it is now. I am satisfied with it. It is more than enough for my applications.

I called the dealership and they said bought and installed it was 200 dollars for a 12k class 5 hitch. Again, I dont see myself ever towing more than 5k so I didnt see the point. Hope it works out bro!
