hey guys, i eventually want to put in a backup camera on my sport 4x4. i will probably put it in the same location as the factory, right next to key hole on tailgate handle. but i dont feel like going through the hassles of the nav head unit etc. i was thinking about getting a gentex rearview mirror with built in camera. anyone done this before?

 

I would like to know about this as well. My question is, will the oem camera work witht the Gentex rear camera display mirror?

 

That screen would be way to small for my old eyes to get any use from. I got a GPS with a wireless backup camera off ebay so cheap I couldn't pass it up. Nice 5" display and the GPS works well. (not a Garmin, but work OK considering) LOL
