Superchips performance tune question
I put in my 93 performance tune yesterday and it's great but I want to disable MDS as well. I was wondering if I went to advanced tune, what would I set everything at to get the same thing as the 93 canned tune and then I could also turn off MDS? If that makes sense.
I basically have the 93 octane quick tune but only changed the top speed limiter to 140. MDS disable was an option in there. Just don't change anything else and it will be the default quick tune settings - at least I believe so since the 1-2 up shifted at the same 5600 rpm mark with the tune. May update the shift points to the 5800 range when I reflash since I need to go back to stock in a few weeks since I'm about due for a trip to the dealer to use my last free oil change coupon and tire rotation ( they always seem to find an RRT to do when I am there ).

matt3,
canned tune and advance is different at first. so if you used the canned first and then want to use advanced to turn off the mds, it will have the (stock) settings for the 93 tune. you will still have to change your shift points, limiter, etc. Once that is done in advance tunning, it will keep your pref and you can adjust or tweek and rebuild file. so make sure to adjust your settings in the advance tune.
just check your limiter or shift points and you'll see if it's still set to stock/basic 93 tune. i like my shift points set at 5900 or 6100, more so the 6100.
hope this helps

What are the stock (Dodge factory) settings compared to the canned 93 tune?
honestly I can't even remember, maybe someone will chime in and post. sry
but, if ur limiter is set to something like 110 or so, you'll know it's still stock. Not sure about the shift points...
