I have the same squeaks you are talking about. I also have the rough country leveling kit. If I go underneath the back of the truck, and push up I can hear the squeaks. On my truck it is coming from the shocks, and the stabilizer bushings. I have tried lubing with wd40, and it helps somewhat, but it still is squeaking. I also can hear the same noise in the front. Does anyone without a leveling kit have this problem?

i have bags in the rear with the large spacer on top. i have not been under there to see if i can duplicate by pushing up, might need to get by the gym first.
i'm not positive, but my noise seems to be coming from the front; no modifications under there.

If any of you with the chirping sounds have the Rambox, check the lids.

Boy this squeaking is driving me nuts! Ive gotten the rear suspension to stop squeaking, but the front still squeaks bad. It almost sounds like it is coming from in by the rotors. I can hear it when someone pushes the front bumper up and down.

wd/40 is not a lubricant....try a good silicone based spay lube. jack up truck from frame to unload the suspesion to get a good coating on parts that rub.

Default Found Squeaking Noise Cause

So after poking around for a little bit I found the source of the annoying squeaking. It is my front Rough Country strut spacers. Basically with their kit the spacer sits directly on top of the strut assembly and its rubs against it and since they are both metal it squeaks.

I looked up the kit I bought on Rough Country and I see now in the kit they include a rubber bushing to go in between these two parts.

I called them and inquired about this, and basically they added it later because of the squeaking noise, and the representative advised me to get a piece of rubber and cut it out and put it in between.

I am not too happy with Rough Country's answer, because since the failed to do proper research on a product before releasing it, they had to change it, and now people who have the original problematic product is screwed.

Now I have to tear my truck apart again, make my own spacer, and pay for another alignment..

I found that my squeak has been coming from the driver’s front wheel well liner. I added a plastic spacer between the wheel well trim and the liner to add additional compression to minimize the squeaking. It has not completely eliminated it, however I only hear it now on extremely windy days.
