Umm...I'm no engineer or math wiz but....oh wait..I am ...the facts are CLEARLY off by a bit.

Read the grill size and then the headlamp size and start fact checking again. You will get the idea.

I get what your saying on how disproportionate what the OP posted sounds, but these must be the specs that Chrysler released because I just did a search on the building wrap and no less than 10 websites report the same specs including Motor Trends Truck Trend site.

I would bet it didn't eat up all of their advertising budget, considering that it's basically a giant billboard that they don't have to pay billboard rental fees on. I'm sure it was a pretty penny to have that thing printed and installed though.

I bet it is well worth it that area has money, and there is always construction going on around there since there is so much land available. Nice area too.
I bet just from people knowing they won the award which otherwise they may not have known that would sell trucks. I love seeing that their...big building, can't miss it while driving by on the freeway. Too some courses their, awesome cafeteria's there yes cafeteria's. That huge pentagon is very cool to look out from. Few of us got lucky and got to sneak a peak.

Fail....

Look at the headlight as you describe....look at the grill.....do the math again....then repost what you find. (Tip: use a caliper if you need to) My measurometer shows the way you describe it as: headlights at 18' x 2 = 36' is not equal to the 27' of the twice the size of the headlights grill....???

At any rate....it is a badass ad....it WAS a waste of money if you consider that it probably really wont sell but a handfull of trucks if any...you get better bang for the buck for good magazine ads, tv spots and test drive write ups...and this was nothing more than an EGO trip and poor spending on a short term ad....but STILL a badass ad!
