Man, I don’t know which one of you HATEFUL people, wished bad on my antenna, but it worked……

Since posting or should I say boosting about my antenna last week, the damn thing broke off. I’ll never know how or why, but it could’ve been broken off by some A$$Hole that was parked practically 14-16 inches from my truck at the store Sunday afternoon, or by my all too sweet girlfriend who decided to surprise me with a car wash, while I watched the NBA Playoffs Sunday night.

Either way, she walked in, tells me to come check something out in the driveway, and my RAM is looking great, with a beautiful shine……. I say “thanks hun”, and she says “no prob, but there is something wrong with your antenna, it was just hanging there”…….

The antenna is NO MORE, and regardless of how it happened, I know the root of the evil was one of you HATEFUL bastards…….. hahahahaha...!!!!! LOL....!!!!

I replaced my mast with the black one from Pepboys also. Looks great. Has anyone come across a black antenna nut for it? Project Blackout won't be complete without it.

Do you have a part number? Or are they universal? How's the reception with the new antenna? Rob

One more issue to add to the list. I have never had rust on antenna on any car or truck I have ever owned. I am happy to say I do not have any on mine.

THIS FORUM IS DEPRESSING!

09 early build no rust on antenna. Knock wood. Not too worried if it did, I think I would just go buy a rubber one and for the chrome nut etc. a little black paint on them to make them go away.
