Default Shift the inverter for 220 Volts?

Is there any way to switch the Inverter from 115 Volts to 220/230 Volts?

Is it easy to take the outlet in the console out? I want to change it to a swedish/european one!

I am told the inverter is actually under the passenger seat. The wiring that plugs onto the outlet is not a very heavy gauge wire I don't see you getting 220 thru that alone. Outlet is simple to take out, one screw. but what would you put in there.

I don't see any problem with running 230 volts in the same cables, just that i cant use as many watts on it, then there will not be the same load on the cables.

I want to put a european plug in there, since I live in Sweden...

You'll have to switch the invertor. There is no way to change a 120vac invertor to provide 220. I don't recall ever seeing a 220VAC invertor, but here in the US the only thing we run off 220 are large machines (dryers, welders, ovens)

They do make 12 volt to 220 invertors. I am sure yu could pick one up anywhere over there. You would need to pull the stock one, swap in the new one. You could even I'm sure pull the plug end out of the invertor, extend and either extend the wires or tap into the stock wiring to bring you to the dash and swap plugs..... not sure how clean of an install you could make in the dash, but I am sure it would work....
