Default Love my truck, but.......

Hello all,

I have a 2009 SLT 1500 QC 4.7 all factory incl remote start,with 7000 on it.

Here is my problem and it has been into the dealer 5 times and they cannot make it happen. I have many people who have witnessed the problems.
1. The truck will start by itself

2. The windows, front only, will lower all the way or partially but open the same amount

3. Doors will unlock, or lock by themselves.

4. The truck will not start at times with the remote factory start, I will know this as I will not

I have removed the batteries from the two fobs, and it still happens. It does not happen every day, but it will happen a few times per week at no specific interval. This happens after I lock up. It has happenned immediately or I may not know until I come back to my truck from 5 minutes to the next time I start up. I will know that my engine has started as I check the hours clock before I shut down and come back and it will be more time.

Sorry for the long winded message but i tried to cover all common check outs.

Thanks

Richie

Man that sucks. Five times and the problem hasn't been solved? Sounds like you need to start the lemon process.

This is the first time I've heard of this problem.

Sounds like RFI, do these things happen when your vehicle is in the same location or just anywhere?

This sounds like a dumb question but, are you accidently pushing the buttons while it is in your pocket. The front windows will roll down if you press the unlock button twice and hold it on the second press. I have done this several times and also started it a few times with the fob in my pocket...just my thoughts.

He took the batteries out of both his fobs and it still did it. I would have that problem fixed quickly or dodge would be buying the truck back. There's no way I would have a truck that randomly unlocks and starts itself. Unless it only does it at one particular spot then something else may be causing it

It does it anywhere

No specific place or time

batteries out of fob

no cellphone on

I have had my lawyer contact Chrysler/Dodge as it has been in 5 times, starting the Lemon Law Process. But I still love the truck as a whole.
