Default Tie Down Anchor Strength?

Hey, guys.... I was wondering how much the tie down anchors will hold. I put some straps in my truck so they will be ready when I need them and when I tighten them up.... the anchors seem like they are weak and will bend. Not cool! I will need them often to transport my motorcycle to the track and was just curious if they will hold up. Have you used them often? They hold up? Bend? It seems like they are actually attached to just sheet metal or something. I haven't tied down anything yet but they just seem weak. What have you used yours for and how much pressure did you put on them?

I've strapped down stacks of wood pretty tightly. If all you are doing is strapping bikes I don't think you'll have any problems.

dirt bikes have held up so far w/o any distortion of the anchors.

Good to know, guys. I just hooked my straps anchor to anchor to store them and when I tightened them they looked like they started to bend slightly... so I haven't really cranked them down yet. A bike is 400 lbs and will bounce around a little.... so I wanted to be sure. I would have been pissed if they were just meant for bungees and stuff!!

Just tied my bike down to the back of my truck along with a bunch of gear...the anchors themselves didn't seem to bend but the walls around them noticably flexed as I tighted down the ratchet straps on my bike.
